Underwater Peoples
What is with this label and me truly, madly, deeply feeling their artists? (as I've mentioned before I'm pretty into Real Estate who happen to be playing a show on October 20th at the Barbary with Neon Indian)
This week I'm falling for Julian Lynch.
Have a listen.

Holy Shit
I was gonna blog something but started reading other blogs and realized that what I was just about to blog wasn't nearly as interesting or captivating as most of the blogs I read.
But I'm blogging it anyway.

I wouldn't mind hanging with Erlend Øye for a day. I guess the other guy could come too.
Kings of Convenience-"Boat Behind"
This song will one day be the opening credits my cooking show. It's sort of a Django Reinhardty tune, just what a good intro needs.
'Declaration of Dependence' is the Kings of Convenience first album in 5 years, and is due out October 19.

I don't know why, but I have a real sweet spot for Fruit Bats.
I caught a really good in-studio session on Drexel's (free format non-commercial) radio station WKDU today and fear that not enough people appreciate the simple satisfaction of unapologetic poppy-folk music.
I strongly encourage a listen, and you can't argue because here's a stream of their latest "The Ruminant Band".
